Dan Matthews

Dan leads the editorial and publishing team at Man Bites Dog. A seasoned journalist, editorial manager and strategist, Dan has worked at some of the biggest news organisations in the UK, with writing credits including the Telegraph, Guardian, Forbes and FT.

He is the former editorial director of Raconteur Media, former editor of Grant Thornton’s magazine, Strategies for Growth, and for 15 years ran his own publishing business with the titles Minutehack.com and Pmtoday.co.uk.

Dan loves nothing more than finding a good story, uncovering fascinating angles and developing them into must-read content pieces, not just on paper via magazines, but also using cutting-edge digital media and exciting, impactful design.

The result is a host of happy clients, both within and outside the publishing industry. From the corporate space, these include Santander, Dell, Microsoft, UCL, Capgemini, Roland Berger, the British Council, White & Case and Barclays Private Bank, to name just a handful of the leading brands Dan has worked with.

He holds a master's degree in Global Security from Keele University and a BA (hons) in History and Politics.
