Man Bites Dog’s mission is to help business mobilise change on the world’s most important issues from accelerating net zero to building a more inclusive world. Our work makes a difference and fostering an inclusive culture where our team can be themselves and belong is at the heart of everything we do.

We grow our business by growing our people – and developing talent with a diversity of perspectives is critical to our ability to create Man Bites Dog ideas that stand-out from the crowd.

We are a certified woman-owned business with a senior leadership team that represents the composition of our workforce. It’s important to us to actively campaign for the change we want to see, including Man Bites Dog’s own campaigns to increase the representation of diverse experts in media and public life, The Gender Say Gap and The Gender News Gap.

We also support inclusion in our local community. We work with the Business and IP Centre, supporting their mission to democratise entrepreneurship by providing accessible business support through the library network. We support sustainable and inclusive development through our active involvement in local economic development Boards.

We make a difference through thought leadership and strategic marketing. But we also recognise that we can make a positive impact through delivering on our commitment to our people, our clients and our community.

We are taking steps every day to make our company – and our industry – more inclusive, and to represent and empower a diverse range of people and talent. This includes listening to feedback, making changes to meet the needs of our team, and amplifying underrepresented voices.

We have removed barriers to entry to enable us to attract top diverse talent, and internally we have created an environment of equitable development and progression.
